ABOUT THE ROLE

As an experienced Photographer/Videographer, you will play a vital role in capturing and creating visually stunning content for our clients. You will collaborate closely with our creative team and clients to bring their brand stories to life through captivating imagery and videos. This role requires a keen eye for detail, technical expertise in photography and videography, and a strong understanding of storytelling through visuals.

 

OBJECTIVES OF THIS ROLE

• Produce high-quality photographs and videos that align with client objectives and brand identities for the platforms of Meta, TikTok, Youtube, and Vimeo.
• Collaborate with the creative team and clients to conceptualize and plan visual content.
• Capture and edit compelling images and videos that effectively convey brand stories.
• Ensure the use of appropriate lighting, composition, and technical aspects to achieve desired results.
• Stay updated on industry trends, techniques, and equipment to deliver cutting-edge visuals.
• Manage and organize digital assets, including post-production editing and archiving.
• Maintain a high level of professionalism, creativity, and attention to detail in all projects.
• Collaborate with other team members to ensure seamless integration of visual content into digital strategies.
• Guide external partnered photographers/videographers when necessary.
• Continuously seek opportunities to enhance and expand the agency’s photography and videography capabilities.

 

Daily and Monthly Responsibilities

• Collaborate with clients and the creative team to understand project requirements and objectives.
• Plan and execute photoshoots and video shoots, ensuring all necessary equipment and resources are available.
• Capture high-quality photographs and videos, applying artistic and technical expertise.
• Conduct post-production editing, including retouching, color grading, and video editing.
• Organize and maintain a digital asset library, ensuring efficient storage and retrieval of files.
• Stay updated on the latest photography and videography techniques, equipment, and software.
• Provide recommendations on visual content strategies and best practices.
• Collaborate with other team members to integrate visuals into digital marketing campaigns.
• Participate in team meetings, brainstorming sessions, and project reviews.

 

Skills and Qualifications

• Proven experience as a professional photographer/videographer in an agency or similar setting.
• Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, including Photoshop, Lightroom, and Premiere Pro, to expertly enhance and edit photographs and videos, ensuring the highest level of visual quality and storytelling.
• Familiarity with DaVinci Resolve, a professional-grade video editing software, to apply advanced color grading, visual effects, and precise editing techniques, delivering polished and cinematic video content.
• Expertise in using professional-grade cameras, lenses, lighting equipment, and video recording/editing tools.
• Strong portfolio demonstrating exceptional photography and videography skills.
• Deep understanding of visual storytelling principles, composition, lighting, and color theory.
• Excellent knowledge of current photography and videography trends, techniques, and industry standards.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
• Strong organizational and time management skills to handle multiple projects simultaneously.
• Attention to detail, with a focus on producing high-quality visuals that meet client expectations.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with clients and team members.

 

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in photography, Videography, Fine Arts, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
• Experience working in a digital agency or creative studio environment.
• Specialization in specific photography or videography genres.
